Hello,
as you may have guessed, this is the web-space of me, Mark Grainger. I’m a North East England dweller with an under-grad degree in Journalism and, more recently, an MA in Public Relations. These are both areas which I not only have a degree of experience in but also interest me hugely and it is the purpose of this page to bridge the gap between my two key interests.
As well as the comment pieces and musings on PR that can be found in the ‘In Depth’ tab and to the left of the page, there are two other sites listed in the tabs; the first, ‘Power Up PR’, is a blog dedicated to the workings of PR and marketing within the gaming industry whilst the second, titled ‘Mark Grainger Writes’, is a portfolio of my journalism work to date including interviews, reviews and columns.
Clicking on their tabs up there will give you a bit of background on each site as well as a link to take you there. Please note though that the ‘In Depth’ articles whilst permanently available in the archives, will only be featured in the ‘In Depth’ tab for a limited time.
I am available for hire wearing either of my hats, PR or journalism, and if there’s anything you wish to discuss further then feel free to leave a comment on this page or use the twitter link on the left of the screen.
